It's taken me ages to find a maxi dress that would fit my 5ft frame but I finally found one from TK Maxx. I still have to wear it with wedges but at least I can now wear one! You must have noticed by now that I'm obsessed with turquoise, so as soon as these wedges hit the Primark stores I HAD to get them. I also got them in hot pink too- at £14 each you can't go wrong! They're also really comfy too which is a bonus. Not sure about the ribbon lace though...I might change it to a corded lace, the same colour as the heel. Hope you all have a lovely day!

Thought I'd wear my necklace that I bought from All Saints online a while ago when I had a 20% off voucher from Glamour magazine. I don't wear it that often cos it's quite heavy and I'm a little scared that one of the stones will fall out, especially since the first necklace I received had a stone missing. Every time I do wear it though, people do comment on it and I think it's such a stand-out piece to add to a basic outfit. I took a few photos of the packaging it came in when it arrived.

 

Initially I received the necklace in a MASSIVE box. Although I have kept the box and I use it now for storage, I thought it was a bit ridiculous sending me such a massive box to hold a very small item. Anyway, the necklace was contained in a cute little canvas pouch which was wrapped in vintage coffee stained tissue paper. All Saints' vintage style signature presentation and packaging is the reason why I like to order online.

After all the excitement of unwrapping the packaging, I was so disappointed to find that a stone was missing from the necklace (top left). So I sent the necklace back in a jiffy bag and promptly received a replacement necklace. This time the necklace came in a much smaller box (finally eco-friendly thinking) and I was happy to find that all the stones were intact. The agate stones are quite different on this necklace to the previous one- they look more 'aged', which I like.

Finally starting to feel like SUMMER :D

Just got back from college and now off to a BBQ. Went up to 32 degrees today in London. Loove it! :D Haven't had the chance to wear these converses for ages, but thought they looked cute with this outfit :p What do you think??

Navajo tassels

Just went to a gathering at my friend's house with my best friend Ben. I wore this navajo print tassel top, which I bought from this season's Topshop sample sale. It's one of my favourite tops as I'm really into the whole navajo/navaho style at the moment. The leggings are from American Apparel and the boots are from Caterpillar.

Studded denim shorts

Wore this outfit when I went to meet my boyfriend. I love the studs on the denim shorts. As you can see I've also 'ombred' my hair...still not made up my mind about how it looks yet (I used Live XXL hair colour). Let me know what you think!

I passed my driving test!

I passed my driving test for the first time on the 29th April- the same day the Royal wedding took place! I passed with 6 minors and my maneuver was 'reverse around the corner' which I was dreading! But my instructor (who was sitting in the backseat) smiled at me and mouthed 'you can do it!' which worked a charm! So this is my fabbbulous car! Her name is Ethel, since she's ancient!

The Shoot

In December, my sister had to do a project for her university course (she's just finished studying graphic design at University of Leeds) and she asked me to model for her photographs.

In this photo I'm wearing my sister's statement necklace. We saw Dannii Minogue wearing it on X Factor and she immediately searched for it online!

I absolutely adore this jacket! It does belong to my sister, but I'm lucky enough to be able to borrow it whenever she isn't wearing it. The embroidery on the back looks very much like Balinese Batik which gives this leather biker jacket an 'alternative' edge. The studs on the collar also makes this jacket different from all the other leather bikers out there. Unfortunately my sister bought it before it came into the sale but she (and I!) have worn this jacket so much that we feel the price was justified....kind of!

Shorts (Topshop Premium)

I love these shorts so much! But they are very delicate and the beads kept falling off, so maybe not the best for a night out  :p
